After another underwhelming season in 2009, many fans were surprised to see the announcement that Jack Del Rio would return as head coach in 2010. A mean linebacker in his day, his team’s defense lacked his aggressive persona and they could not get key stops when they needed to in the deciding game against Indianapolis late in the year. On the offensive side of the ball, David Garrard was one of the most sacked QBs in the league and electric RB Maurice Jones-Drew complained at times because he didn’t get the ball enough.
