“So Talented, So Troubled “ Just like in real football, fantasy football is full of incredibly talented individuals who can’t seem to stay out of trouble. We’ve seen it in the past with phenoms like Randy Moss. Even current players like Ben Roethlisberger have had some run-ins with the law. It doesn’t matter what time...
As a general rule quarterbacks run football and the NFL. Even in fantasy football QB’s run the day… so why is it that everyone waits on drafting a quarterback? I completely understand the reasoning behind this question – since they’re the highest scoring players, shouldn’t they be coming off the board first? Like anything, it’s...
The Zero-RB (or zero running back) movement began a few years ago and has steadily picked up steam which each passing season. The basis of the strategy is to essentially punt on running backs until the middle-ish rounds of your draft – depending on your tolerance and how the draft plays out. Rather than drafting...
Yes and no. I don’t think that PPR (point per reception) leagues will ever take over standard leagues, but I believe the time has come where the two styles will sit side by side at the top of the mountain. The NFL is a pass-happy league and because of that more and more players are...
The new darling of the fantasy world is Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS). What has people so excited over this new daily format is the ability to win money every time the contest ends rather than only at the end of the season. The premise of these leagues is still the same – score more...
So, you want to know what all the fuss is about fantasy football? It’s the ultimate test of how well you really know the game. Fantasy football is about putting together a team of players better than anyone else in your league. You draft a team of NFL players just like the GM of your...

- LeGarrette Blount to be New England's workhorse in 2016Posted at 5:04 pm
New England Patriots RB LeGarrette Blount appears to be in control of his own destiny as the team's workhorse rusher in 2016. Running back's coach Ivan Fears spoke to the Boston Herald on what Blount needs to do to remain the team's lead back in the upcoming season. “I want to see the LeGarrette I know that can be a dominant player when he’s playing up to his stuff. I want to see him get back to that. He’s been hurt. He’s been away from us. There’s a lot of opportunity there for him. Let’s see what he can do,” Fears said. “There’s gotta be some consistency to his play. There’s got to be production. And, of course, a guy with his size, there’s gotta be some physicalness. All that’s important." (Source: The Boston Herald)
